Five farms in Knox and Sullivan counties will be featured during the 79th annual Indiana Farm Management Tour June 28-29. The free event, hosted by Purdue's Department of Agricultural Economics, showcases farms that demonstrate highly successful business management practices or have unique perspectives on farm business management. June 28 tours include Unger Farms in Carlisle and Melon Acres in Oaktown. June 29 tours include T.S. Boyd Grain Inc. in Washington, Carnahan & Sons Farm in Vincennes and Villwock Farms in Edwardsport. Lunch is available both days. A Master Farmer reception and dinner program takes place the first day, with an agricultural outlook by Purdue agricultural economist Chris Hurt the second day.
