Scott is the Field Coordinator for the
Integrated Deer Management Project at Purdue University. Scott earned his B.S. in Environmental Science with a concentration in Terrestrial Ecology from SUNY Brockport in 2013, graduating Magna cum laude. In the years since, Allaire has worked a variety of field technician jobs; he has spent time with the U.S. Geological Survey establishing wolf-track and scat surveys in Ely, MN, and was the lead technician on a predator-prey pilot study with the U.S. Fish and Wildlife Service in Plush, OR. At Purdue, Scott was instrumental in implementing a new predator study in early 2020, and now serves as the Field Coordinator. He helps to manage all aspects of field work, provides training to new employees, and fosters collaboration between faculty, graduate students, and field technicians.
