Purdue Agriculture is pleased to host yet another nationally prominent speaker to keynote the Ag Fish Fry. Dan Glickman has a long record of public service to agriculture stakeholders, including 18 years in the U.S. House of Representatives during which time he served on the House Agriculture Committee. He was appointed Secretary of Agriculture in 1995 and served until 2001. Mr. Glickman is now involved in global agricultural concerns, serving as the Vice Chair of the World Food Programme, and he serves as the co-chair of the Global Agricultural Development Initiative of the Chicago Council on Global Affairs. His board memberships include the Chicago Mercantile Exchange; the National 4-H Council; Food Research and Action Center, a domestic anti-hunger organization; and the Center for U.S. Global Engagement.

  • ORDER EARLY!Until January 4, priority will be given to orders from 2007-10 ticket purchasers, and College of Agriculture alumni, donors and staff. Other orders will be accepted but will not be filled until after January 4. Tickets may still be available after the priority deadline, but orders are processed in the order received, so order early to get the best available seating. 
  • RESERVED SEATINGAll tables are reserved - seat location will be based on date order is received. Seating is at round tables of 10. Persons wanting to sit together should order tickets together.
  • PARK WITH EASE! - Purchase an advance parking permit for the lots in front of the Blue Ribbon Pavilion, or inside the Swine Barn. Order your parking permit when you order your tickets. Cars without advance purchase parking permits will pay $3 to park on the fairgrounds, and will not be guaranteed the location of available parking.
  • CHILD CARE – Once again, on-site child care is available. Advance reservations are required; walk-ins cannot be accommodated. See order form for information required, or call the Ag Alumni office by January 21 to make reservations - (765) 494-8593.
  • LEAVE THE DRIVING TO US – Round-trip bus transportation is available from West Lafayette. Cost is $8 per person. Reservations are required, and space is limited. Reserve your space when you order your tickets.
