The foundation provides $40 million to $55 million in annual grant funding primarily in Africa, Latin America and the United States.

Buffett also operates a 1,400 acre personal farm in central Illinois, manages a 400-acre family-owned farm in eastern Nebraska, and oversees two research farms owned by the foundation - a 2,500 acre farm in Decatur, Ill., and a 9,200 acre farm in South Africa.
