Purdue Ag Fish Fry - Saturday, April 30, 2022

Featuring Dr. Jerome Adams, Presidential Fellow at Purdue University and 20th US Surgeon General

It is with great excitement that we announce the return of the annual Purdue Ag Alumni Fish Fry! Please make plans to join us on the new date of Saturday, April 30, 2022 - postponed from the earlier date of February 5, 2022 - as we celebrate the unofficial homecoming of Indiana Agriculture. We will return to the Blue Ribbon Pavilion at the Indiana State Fairgrounds. In addition to honoring our Certificate of Distinction winners, we welcome Dr. Jerome Adams, Presidential Fellow at Purdue University and 20th US Surgeon General. Dr. Adams will speak on health equity, and why it is important to all of us. Growing up in a rural area and serving as Indiana's State Health Commissioner before his DC appointment has given him a unique perspective on the topic of health equity.

New this year: tickets now include the cost of parking at the fairgrounds.

Doors open to ticket holders to visit and network Agriculture Avenue at 9:30 a.m. with opening ceremonies starting at 11:00 a.m.

COVID-19 precautions will be announced closer to the date of the event.

Save the Date - Fish Tank will take place on April 26 at 2:30  p.m. EST via zoom. Alumni and Friends are invited to watch 5-minute pitches from several start-up companies who are part of the Purdue Foundry Ag-Celerator program. The virtual audience will select their winner that day, and will award the winning start-up with a $1,000 prize. The judges' choice, and a $5,000 prize winner, will be announced at the Purdue Ag Alumni Fish Fry. Alumni and friends are invited to join and vote for their favorites.
