Jennifer is the content marketing and social media manager for the Center for Food and Agricultural Business at Purdue University. In this role, she is responsible for creating and coordinating content for online and print marketing campaigns; writing and editing magazine articles, news releases, and blogs; and managing the center’s social media presence.
Jennifer graduated from Purdue in 2006 with a bachelor’s degree in agricultural communication and minors in sociology and communication. Before coming to the center, she spent nearly nine years in Purdue’s Department of Agricultural Communication as a news writer, then managing editor for a multi-state production agriculture periodical, and finally as a strategic communication specialist for agricultural research in the plant sciences.
In her free time, Jennifer enjoys traveling with her husband Jake, spending time on her family’s five-generation corn and soybean operation, and hanging out with her two dogs: Lenny and Frank. She serves on missions and outreach teams at Calvary Baptist Church, where she mostly focuses on community outreach, international clean water missions and combating human trafficking.
