Translation Guidelines

Any numbered Purdue Extension publication that you want to translate into another language must be translated by a professional. AgComm publishing can arrange translation services for you.

The reason for the professional translator is simple. For example, Spanish, like any written language, is full of nuances and shades of meaning that vary between geographic regions and cultures. Professional translators frequently understand these nuances better than nonprofessionals who may speak Spanish well, but who may be unfamiliar with written conventions.

Your editor will provide you with estimates for the complete cost for the project before committing you to the work. Translators are paid from the account number you provide.
