The Bone Zone Mini-Exhibit
This free standing, mini-exhibit (three-sided, 7 feet high and 8 feet in diameter) lets young people explore how to keep their bones healthy to decrease the prevalence of osteoporosis as adults.
Its lively carnival theme features interactives that explain the differences between weak and strong bones ("The Bone Crusher"), show the calcium levels in various foods ("Bone Up on Calcium"), and explore the importance exercise for future bone health ("Don't Be a Lazy Bones").
