The Master Farmer Award is the nation's longest running award program. The Indiana Master Farmer Program is sponsored by Indiana Prairie Farmer and the Purdue University College of Agriculture. This program recognizes farmers who have not only been successful in farming, but who are also assets to their communities and to agriculture. The program is open to the public and should be of interest to friends of the award winners, Indiana Farm Management Tour participants, and supporters of Indiana Agriculture. The event is held in conjunction with the annual Indiana Farm Management Tour. The farm tour is free to the public. Participation in the Master Farmer Banquet requires a registration fee. Both events require registration.
