Job Title: Factory Sales Representative

Job Duties: Professionally represent market and promote Wheatheart Mfg. products in a sales territory which

includes Illinois, Indiana, Ohio and Missouri.

Candidates should be positive, highly self-motivated, effective communicators and well organized.

Excellent organizational and time-management skills. Strong planning and execution skills.

Excellent speaking and presentation skills.

Ability to think strategically.

Ability to learn and understand different management styles appropriate for working with dealers.

Minimum of bachelor’s degree in a relevant field.

Willing to travel 3-4 nights/week.

Must be willing to relocate.

Primary Duties:

Ensure continued business from established dealer network and develop additional dealers within the

assigned territory to maximize market penetration of all Wheatheart products.

Attain sales goals for all Wheatheart products in the assigned territory.

Conduct dealer sales meetings and provide training to dealer personnel on all Wheatheart products.

Establish a call program to take advantage of all opportunities within assigned territory.

Assist dealers in the development and execution of sales and service plans.

Provide information regarding competitive product and market developments.

Represent Wheatheart at regional trade shows and expositions and provide a strong presence in

business, social and community affairs.

Assist the Credit Department with collections/repossessions as required. Maintain an acceptable level

of carry-over inventory.

Maintain a complete knowledge of Wheatheart products and their markets.

Perform other duties as required.

Performance Measures:

Gross annual sales as indicated by paid invoices.

Percentage of inventory carry-over as measured by dollar amount of re-dated inventory divided by

gross annual sales.

Customer satisfaction.

Ability to meet performance goals.


Annual salary commensurate with experience.

Base salary plus commission.
