Waitt Equipment Sales, located near Westfield, IN, has provided quality agricultural equipment to the farming community throughout Indiana for over 40 years. We pride ourselves on being a single source solution for grain, fertilizer, feed, seed and other bulk equipment needs. We offer Miller Sprayers, New Leader spreader beds, and Brock grain bins, all premium products of our industry. Along with our major lines, we sell a strong group of ancillary brands for our farm and commercial customers. Offering new equipment, used equipment, parts, and service enables us to maintain lasting relationships with our customers.
The Position
Waitt Equipment Sales is seeking an Indiana Territory Sales Person for our Fertilizer Equipment.  This will be a highly competitive and fast paced position that will require travel up to 5 days a week. Candidates for this position should be knowledgeable about all equipment we sell and have in stock, as well as brands and equipment provided by our competitors.

·         Outgoing, confident, self-motivated and result-oriented.
·         Eagerness to learn as well as train and provide technical support to customers.
Key Accountabilities:
·         Unearth viable prospects by visiting farms throughout your area, spending an average of three nights a week on the road.
·         Schedule four pre-set appointments per day with several drop-in cold calls with customers and prospects.
·         Uncover new opportunities to serve current customers.
·         Schedule and conduct “ride and drive” demonstrations with interested prospects.
·         Effectively manage relationships through long sales cycles and close deals.
