Toba started his PhD studies in January 2014.He is currently a PhD. Candidate working on his dissertation "The Adoption and Impacts of Improved Storage Technology in Uganda". His dissertation work has given him experience with monitoring and evalutation of developmental projects using both experimental and non-experimental designs. He has first-hand experience with survey design and implementation (data collection) in developing countries as well as capacity building on postharvest loss reduction among extension workers and smallholder farmers in sub-Saharan Africa.
Prior to his PhD. program in Agricultural Economics, he has a Masters degree in Civil Engineering from Purdue University, and a Bachelors degree in Geomatics Engineering from the University of Lagos, Nigeria.
