Abbey Moorman serves as an event manager at the Center for Food and Agricultural Business. In this role, she is responsible for managing the logistical details pertaining to hosting a center seminar, workshop or conference. Abbey manages these programs on campus, statewide, nationally and even internationally, depending on the location and needs of her clients. Abbey’s goal in this position is to provide thorough logistical planning and exceptional support to staff, faculty and participants alike by addressing all inquiries and requests in hopes of facilitating a smooth and enriching Purdue learning experience.

Prior to joining the center, Abbey was a project manager for Universal WorldEvents. She holds a bachelor’s degree in organizational communication from Purdue University. When not in the office, Abbey enjoys reading, hunting and most of all, spending quality time with family and friends.
