Penny is the administrative assistant for the undergraduate advising
area. She supports Dr. Craig Dobbins, Dr. Frank Dooley, Ms. LeeAnn
Williams and Mr. Andy Oppy as well as working closely with
undergraduate students. Penny is from Benton County, Indiana. She
earned her Bachelor's Degree in Social Work from Saint Mary of the
Woods in Terre Haute, Indiana. She began working at Purdue University
in the Office of the Indiana State Chemist in 1994. She worked in the
Biochemistry Department from 1999 until coming to the Department of
Agricultural Economics in 2007. Penny also works at the YWCA Domestic
Violence and Intervention Prevention Program as a case manager and
Choices (anger management) facilitator.
As Departmental Schedule Deputy, builds the
departmental schedule of undergraduate and graduate classes within the
time-place-staff constraints each semester.
Penny was awarded the Department of Agricultural Economics 2011 Outstanding Service Award for A/P staff.
