Purdue advisors and professors do a great job in making sure you have your resume polished especially in introduction or major-specific classes. The career fair always has hundreds of companies and professionals that are very welcoming and easy to talk to. At my first career fair during my freshmen year, I was very nervous about pitching myself to companies. However, after a few years under my belt, I am completely confident in my ability to sell myself to these companies. I attribute this to the numerous ways Purdue prepares us for these situations. Purdue has interview prep seminars, resume critiques, and in-person interview practices on campus. I have had great experience at all the career fairs I have gone to at Purdue and I highly recommend new or current students to attend these professional development events!<\/span><\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>The Purdue College of Agriculture career fair always comes up fast after school starts.
