As a graduating senior, I have reflected on my best and not so great decisions throughout my time in Purdue Agronomy. One of the best decisions that I made was to diversify my education and experience. The skills and connections that I have made through working as an undergraduate TA in AGRY 255 (Soil Science) has helped me better understand the agriculture production systems I will be breeding crops for, as well as make some friends along the way. This experience is just one great example of how a plant genetics student (me) is able to grow in so many different ways within our department.
