John Scott

Graduate Student

Department: Agronomy

I received an Agricultural Economics A.S. and Agronomy B.S. in 2012 and 2013 respectively both from Purdue University. Currently I am working on a Master’s under Dr. Shaun Casteel. The purpose of my project is to measure residual nitrogen left over from application on corn and see if there is any benefit to the next years soybean crop.  An additional study that I am working on concerns applying low rates of inorganic nitrogen fertilizer to soybean and seeing if there is increases in biomass and ultimately yield at economic levels.
