1. What is your hometown? Osceola, IN Bennett with Goat
(Fun Fact: the whole town is only 1.37 square miles)

2. Where did you go to high school? Penn High School

3. What is your major/concentration? Animal Sciences - Animal Agribusiness; double major with Agricultural Economics - Agricultural Finance

4. What is your expected graduation date? May 2020

5. Why did you choose Purdue for undergrad? It was a place that would push the comfort zone and would allow so many experiences that I wouldn't get elsewhere - too many exciting opportunities to pass up!

6. What are your plans after graduation? Work in Ag Business somewhere in IndianaBennett with Donkey

7. What is your 'spirit animal?' Dog: a do-good, feel-good animal

8. What is your favorite organization joined at Purdue? ANSC Ambassadors and Collegiate 4-H

9. What is your proudest achievement while at Purdue? Being accepted into ANSC Ambassadors and getting good grades the 1st semester

10. What has been your favorite class taken at Purdue? ANSC 181 with Barry Delks - the Industry Tour was a great opportunity to gain insight from industry professionals and make connections with people in the Ag industry.

11. What is your favorite Purdue tradition? Fountain runs

12. What is the best thing about the College of Ag? It offers a wide variety of opportunities and the faculty and staff encourage students to take advantage of those opportunities. The College of Ag also makes Purdue feel much smaller - Ag is its own community.

13. What is the best thing about the Department of Animal Sciences? Everyone wants to be a resource and help you in any way possible - faculty/staff are always looking out for student success.Bennett with Cattle

14. What is the best on-campus study spot? Outside if the weather is nice, or USRC in Shreve Hall or HSSE Library.

15. What is your favorite place in town? Panera Bread - the chicken tortellini alfredo is a go-to.

16. What is the most important thing you have learned outside of the classroom? It's important to plan, but it's also important to plan time to de-stress and do things for yourself or you won't be as successful in classes.

17. Where do you hope to study abroad? Australia - explore agriculture

20. What are your hobbies? Anything animal related, mentoring younger 4-H youth, cooking, and spending time with family

21. What advice would you give to incoming students? Recognize beforehand that college isn't what social media portrays it to be - it's harder than people think. It's important to put yourself out there, push through, and the future will be brighter ahead.
