PhD Dissertation: Effect of zinc status on intestinal function of the broiler chicken

MS Thesis (Virginia Polytechnic Institute and State University): Supplementation of Avizyme®1502 to corn/SBM/wheat diets fed to turkey tom poults from 0-56 days of age

Catalina received her B.S. in Animal and Poultry Science from Virginia Tech in 2003. She continued on under the advisorship of Dr. Curtis Novak to receive her M.S. in 2005. She began her PhD studies at Purdue in 2007, and is focusing on the effects of zinc status on bird health and intestinal function. In her spare time Catalina enjoys knitting and rum raisin ice cream.
