The Purdue Emergency Procedures Handbook describes
the procedures to follow in a variety of emergencies. Specific to Whistler
Agricultural Research Building:

Evacuation procedure:
Use the stairs; do not use the elevator. Report to the emergency assembly area,
our designated safe location where occupants of Whistler assemble and report to
the roll taker(s) after an evacuation. Located
at the south end of the building in the grass lot in front of the Food Science
building.
Fire:
Occupants are required by law to follow the evacuation procedure above when the
fire alarm sounds. Do not re-enter the building or work area emergency
responders instruct you to do so.
Tornado: Take the stairs to the sub-basement and meet at the northeast corner of
the building for roll.
