 General Information

Primary Responsibilities
Sherri Cripe is the Multicultural Efforts to end Sexual Assault (MESA) School Bullying Prevention Director. She is responsible for implementing this new effort in the MESA program. Cripe will be working with rural and high-poverty schools across Indiana to address bullying prevention.

Prior to this position, she was the assistant superintendent at Elwood Community School Corporation and an elementary principal at Morocco Elementary. Cripe has been an educational leader for the past nine years and was previously a teacher at Delphi Community School Corporation for 22 years.  She has numerous years’ experience in writing and managing grants, and has secured more than $697,400.00 in competitive grant funding over the past nine years to support initiatives for the school corporations in which she has worked. 

She currently lives in Delphi with her husband, Craig. They have two children and one fur baby. In her free time, Cripe enjoys traveling, reading, playing board games, and spending time with her family.

Department Responsibilities
Cripe works with rural and high-poverty schools across Indiana to address bullying prevention through the Department of Justice and National Council for School Safety STOP grant.
