History of Agriculture at Purdue

 

In their October, 1874 annual report the Purdue Board of Trustees announce for the first time a four-year course of study in Agriculture. Below are Notes dated March, 1916 that explains this Course of Study. As noted in The Debris, March 1916, “Agriculture has had a place in the work of Purdue University from the time it was organized”. The Debris provides more details on the early organization of what is to become the School of Agriculture at Purdue.
