Agricultural Education Student Organizations at Purdue University<\/h3>\n

In 1913, the first agricultural education student organization at Purdue University was Agricultural Education Methods Club. In 1919, they changed their name to Agricultural Education Society. Several years later in 1977 and in keeping with the name of the Indiana Agriculture Teachers professional organization, they changed their name to Indiana Vocational Agriculture Teachers Association \u2013 Purdue (IVATA-Purdue). In 1997, their name changed again to become Indiana Association of Agricultural Educators \u2013 Purdue (IAAE-Purdue). A national professional agricultural education honorary, The Omega Chapter of Alpha Tau Alpha, was established at Purdue on October 5, 1962.\n<\/p>\n
