My name is Lingfei Zeng and I am a graduate student in Dr. Andy Tao’s lab. I am from Wuhan, China and I finished all my former education there. I received my B.S. degree from Tongji Medical College, Huazhong University of Science & Technology, majoring in biopharmacy. I am now in Medicinal Chemistry and Molecular Pharmacology program of Purdue University.

My present project is based on the development and application of affinity Purification-Mass Spectrometry method. Affinity Purification-Mass Spectrometry (AP-MS) Method isolates multiprotein complexes directly from cell lysates through one or more steps. Then Complex components are identified by MS. This method has recently been applied to the detailed characterization of many protein complexes and large protein-protein interaction networks. My work is trying to develop a better way (particularly a better IP method) of protein Affinity purification method for Mass Spectrometry.

When I’m not at work, I like travelling, watching movies and listening to music.
