My name is Liang Qin, but you can call me by my English name, Robert. I am from Taiyuan, a city in China with a history of more than 2,500 years. I received my B.S. in biological sciences in Sun Yet-
I joined the Department of Biochemistry’s Ph.D. program in fall 2010. After rotating in four labs during my first year, I chose the Hall lab. Besides the fact that all of the lab members are really nice, I chose this lab because I am interested in the cell cycle regulation. I am trying to understand how APC is regulated to properly function in promoting mitosis.
When you cannot find me in the lab, I am probably playing basketball, swimming or sleeping.
Sen University in 2007, and then I spent 3 years in Peking Union Medical College, Tsinghua University studying cancer biology where I got M.S. in physiology in 2010.
