Hi, my name is Justine Arrington and I am from the state of Virginia. I obtained my B.S. and M.S. degrees in chemistry from the College of William and Mary in Williamsburg, Virginia.
I entered Purdue to pursue a Ph.D. in the Department of Chemistry during the fall of 2011 and joined Dr. Tao’s lab in October. My project will focus on developing methods to find the true substrates of protein kinases, and although I am technically part of the analytical division here at Purdue, I am very excited to be working on a biologically oriented project.
When I'm not at school, I enjoy spending time with my friends and family. I also like listening to music, playing piano, and cooking new foods.
