Internships/Summer Research Programs
Students are encouraged to obtain work experiences that strengthen and reinforce their classroom experiences. Many students work on campus in laboratories for pay or credits. Off-campus internships are also available, especially during the summer months. Summer Medical and Dental Education Program (SMDEP) is a FREE (full tuition, housing, and meals) six-week summer academic enrichment program that offers freshman and sophomore college students intensive and personalized medical and dental school preparation.
