Tomas Delucchi joined the Weed Science Lab in May of 2018 as an M.S. student under the supervision of Dr. Bryan Young. Tomas earned a B.S. in Agronomy from the Universidad de Buenos Aires (Argentina). His research investigates how sequential application of PPO-inhibiting herbicides after a growth regulator herbicide might help control Amaranth species that are resistant to those same PPO-inhibiting herbicides. Before his arrival in the US, Tomas worked for over 7 years in the agrochemical industry for different companies.

Expected graduation: December 2020.
