Welcome to Purdue's Botany and Plant Pathology Undergraduate Program

We have a new and exciting plant science major.  This major is designed for students who are interested in the biology of plants; how they grow, develop and evolve; the interactions of plants with other organisms and their role in the environment; and how to manage plants that are grown for food, fiber and fuel.  Three concentration areas allow plant science students to learn about these specific areas, develop skills that are well suited and appropriate for a career in fields such as biotechnology and environmental management, and prepare for advanced graduate studies.
