Jade Plant Can Sunburn
Rosie Lerner, Extension Consumer Horticulture Specialist, Purdue University
Jade plant is a succulent commonly grown as a houseplant in the Midwest. Although it can adapt to medium to high light conditions, it frequently develops red edges around the leaves in strong, direct sunlight. In an otherwise healthy plant, this is normal and nothing to be concerned about.
