Asian Lady Beetles Emerge--Again!

Tim Gibb, Insect Diagnostician, Department of Entomology

Warm temperatures this past week-end stimulated the activity of Asian lady beetles inside homes and buildings. These are not new beetles inside the home but have been there all winter and are just now becoming active in
their search to find an exit from the home. You may assist them in their efforts by sweeping them out the door or windows. Keep in mind that October is the time to control the beetles by preventing them from entering the home.
