Open house of Purdue’s new controlled environment phenotyping facility on April 27

The Institute for Plant Sciences will host an open house to showcase Purdue’s new Controlled Environment Phenotyping Facility on Friday (April 27).

The open house hours are 2-4 p.m. The event is open to Purdue faculty, staff and students.

Visitors can explore the facility’s inner workings and potential as a research tool. There will be Q&A opportunities around the major subsystems; Conviron growth chamber, RGB and hyperspectral imaging and multi-recipe fertigation. Light refreshments will be served.

The facility is located at 160 S. Russell Street. Visitors can access the facility from Russell Street or through the Lilly Greenhouses.
