Section 5: Civil Rights Compliance Reviews

Goal: Make sure all units embrace both the intent and the legal aspects of the Civil Rights Laws

Objective: Regularly review our administrative units.

For county-based Extension programs, the State EEO Counselor conducts Civil Rights reviews.  Civil Rights reviews include the following:

  • ​Demographics, staff knowledge and professional development, program accessibility, office facilities, planning and advisory group composition and process, public notification efforts, documentation and reporting
  • Continue to discuss civil rights compliance during all departmental and research center annual reviews.
  • Implement routine civil rights compliance reviews for on-campus departments and research centers.
