Built Ecology Intern – Summer 2025
Locations: Seattle, WA (primary), Boston, MA, Chicago, IL, Denver, CO, New York, NY
Pay: $19.13–$30.00/hour
Duration: 12 weeks (starting May 19, 2025; flexible start date)
WSP USA’s Built Ecology team is offering a full-time summer internship for students in Green Building Design, Engineering, Sustainability Management, or related fields. This hands-on opportunity provides exposure to sustainable building projects, strategy development, and advanced design tools.
Responsibilities:
- Conduct research, data collection, and sustainability analysis.
- Support green building certifications (LEED, WELL, Fitwel, etc.).
- Assist in renewable energy and carbon neutrality assessments.
- Prepare visually compelling reports and presentations.
- Work collaboratively with project teams to deliver innovative solutions.
- Currently enrolled in an Undergraduate, Master’s, or PhD program with expected graduation by August 2025.
- Strong interest in sustainability, design, or engineering.
- Excellent communication, organization, and teamwork skills.
- Proficiency in MS Office; familiarity with Adobe Creative Suite, 3D modeling, or scripting (e.g., Python) is a plus.
