Sustainability Internships

AO Sustainability is seeking passionate undergraduate and graduate students for its internship program. This program offers the opportunity to actively contribute to campus sustainability through strategic initiatives, innovative projects, and a long-term vision for a greener future.

Interns will be mentored by CPAS staff and senior peers, gaining invaluable experience as they use the campus as a living lab. Interns will:

• Collaborate with diverse stakeholders to advance sustainability in campus operations and culture.
• Learn and implement sustainability solutions for complex systems.
• Engage in hands-on projects that deliver real-world impact.
• Develop professional skills and a strong sense of purpose.
• While primarily working with the Sustainability team, interns will also have the chance to connect with the Campus Planning and Architecture teams, broadening their exposure to sustainability efforts across disciplines.

Key Details
Work Schedule:
Fall and Spring Semesters: Up to 20 hours per week
Summer: Up to 40 hours per week
Availability: Positions open throughout the year, with hiring typically occurring before summer and/or fall semesters.
