Technology Intern – State & Local Government, Midwest (Summer 2025)
Locations: Chicago, IL | Detroit, MI
About the Role:
Guidehouse seeks interns to support state and local government clients in areas like economic development, sustainability, disaster recovery, and technology strategy. Interns will contribute to projects that address key challenges in coastal resilience, broadband expansion, and process improvement.
Key Responsibilities:
- Support client interactions and deliverables
- Conduct data analysis and research
- Prepare reports and presentations
- Collaborate with teams and work independently
- Participate in workshops and non-client firm activities
- 10-week program (June 2 – August 8, 2025)
- Learning sessions, evaluations, and networking events
- Group projects and CSR events
Requirements:
Pursuing Bachelor’s/Master’s (Graduation between Fall 2025 – Spring 2026)
Preferred majors: MIS, business, economics, engineering, math, or computer science
Must be authorized to work in the U.S. (No sponsorship available)
Preferred Skills:
- Previous internship experience in tech consulting, AI, ERP, or cloud transformations
- Skills in SQL, Python, R, and database management
- Project management and stakeholder communication experience
- Interest in state and local government initiatives
