Governor's Summer Intern - IDEM Watershed Planning and Restoration


Location: Indianapolis, IN
Pay: $16.24/hour (no degree) or $17.24/hour (with bachelor’s degree)

About the Role:
Join IDEM to support water quality projects, including watershed management, water quality analysis, nonpoint pollution control, and field monitoring. This hands-on role offers a great opportunity for students interested in environmental or natural resource careers.

Responsibilities:
  • Work on a major water-focused project.
  • Support Nonpoint Source and TMDL programs.
  • Collect and analyze water quality data.
  • Conduct field monitoring and environmental reporting.

Requirements:
Currently enrolled undergraduate/graduate student with at least one year of coursework.
Strong research, data analysis, and communication skills.


Details:
Seasonal position limited to 180 working days.
