Dear Indiana High School Students,

I want to tell you about something that means a great deal to me - Purdue University's College of Agriculture. It is a great place to prepare for a life of service, success and satisfaction. The reputation that Purdue has built over the past 100 years will be yours to benefit from if you enroll here and graduate.

Purdue is recognized and respected around the world. The College of Agriculture is global in orientation, but we treat each student as a unique individual. The College of Agriculture has a small-school feeling with 2,500 students and a student to faculty ration of 10:1, but we have numerous opportunities to offer our students. Students can choose to study one of our 45 majors ranging from agricultural economics to agricultural communication and agronomy to food science. They also can choose from over 10 countries to study abroad.

Prepare to be stimulated, fascinated and challenged if you come to Purdue. Expect to be introduced to careers and possibilities that you never knew existed. Get ready to meet students from around the world who are passionate about making a difference in the lives and livelihoods of others. Look forward to being taught by scientists, economics and engineers who lead their professions in the discovery of new knowledge. Plan to have fun!
