​Gypsy moth aerial treatment at Purdue​​

As was published last month, the gypsy moth eradication program to control this invasive species on the Purdue University campus was started this morning.  The video below, recorded by John Obermeyer, captures the small aircraft spraying Btk, which is harmless to humans, the morning of May 19, 2014.  A second spraying will take place in about a week, with a third application of pheromones in June.
