The inaugural cohort of Woodrow WIlson Indiana Teaching Fellows at Purdue started this summer. The teaching fellows is a pioneering program to staff rural secondary schools with highly qualified science, technology, engineering and math (STEM) teachers. Applications are now being accepted for the 2010 cohort of Woodrow Wilson Indiana Teaching Fellows. Early submission deadline is October 12 and the final deadline is January 12, 2010. Jesse Hoteling received his BS in 2003 from the Department of Entomology at Purdue, and then got his MS in 2006 in the same department. He is an entomologist with experience as a university research assistant, and is an avid gardener and bird watcher. He is also a member of the Entomological Society of America.
