The Brooks Elementary Dad's Club in Fishers, Indiana sponsored Science and Math Night to increase awareness of careers in science and math. The department provided a pre-show event for young theater goers attending the 'The Very Hungry Caterpillar and Other Eric Carle Favorite' at the Loeb Playhouse in FebruaryThe department provided a pre-show event for young theater goers attending the 'The Very Hungry Caterpillar and Other Eric Carle Favorite' at the Loeb Playhouse in February. Tom Turpin, Melissa Shepson, Joe Braasch, Nicole Parker, Julia Prado, Kapil Raje, and Faith Weeks entertained the estimated 200-250 visitors with live hornworms and collection boxes, as well as a variety of butterfly pages for the children to use as finger puppets. The production was part of the Purdue Convocations Festival 25 Series.
