National Get Outdoors Day

Get outdoors June 12 with National Get Outdoors Day! GO Day is an annual event that encourages healthy, active outdoor fun by introducing kids and first-time participants to outdoor recreation opportunities close to home.

This nationwide event began under President Clinton in 1998 and is coordinated by the Outdoor Recreation Roundtable and the US Forest Service.

In honor of National Get Outdoors Day many national parks will be offering FREE admission as well as fun events. Check out your national and state parks.
