Purdue Day of Service

Volunteer and giving back to your community is something you can do on October 28th at Purdue's Day of Service.

This event will feature tree planting and beautification work at Horticulture Park. Volunteers will be provided with an exclusive event T-shirt and all necessary equipment. Free refreshments will be available.

Volunteers will work two-hour shifts according to the schedule below:

  • 8–10 a.m.
  • 10 a.m.–Noon
  • 1–3 p.m.

During last year’s inaugural event, 111 volunteers braved inclement weather to plant 62 trees and distribute more than 100 cubic yards of mulch at Horticulture Park—a single day of work that will be appreciated for generations to come. This year, our goal is to plant 300 trees!

Sign up now and spread the word—Purdue is making the world a better place, one tree at a time!
