The Conference on Applied Statistics in Agriculture and Natural Resources brings together a high-powered assembly of statisticians and data scientists from academia, industry and government to discuss ideas and advancements in the application of statistics to solve agricultural and natural resource research problems. The conference also has strong networking and mentoring components through its program to foster interdisciplinary development and collaboration.
This year’s conference will be held at Purdue University May 15th to the 18th, you may see that the program agenda is now available. In addition to hearing the latest developments and applications of statistical methods in these two disciplines and exchange ideas and knowledge in a global context, the 2023 conference also offers an optional workshop on scalable Bayesian models for big spatial and spatio-temporal data.
