Beginning Forest Landowner Short Course

The University of Illinois Extension Forestry Program is now offering a Beginning Forest Landowner Short Course.  The short course includes a 4-hour virtual class on September 11 and a choice of three field days held throughout the state in October.  The virtual class covers forest management and management planning for different goals. This class will be led by forestry experts and provide the knowledge necessary to begin managing your forested land.  The field days will offer an opportunity to see forest practices in the field and learn more about forest management in a hands-on setting.   You need not attend the virtual course to attend the field-day.
