Purdue Day of Service

Do you enjoy volunteering? Want to give back to the community you love? You can do both during the 2023 Purdue Day of Service!

Friday, October 27
9 a.m.–3 p.m.
Purdue West Lafayette Campus

This event will once again feature dedicated volunteers beautifying campus one tree at a time. Volunteers will be provided with an exclusive event T-shirt and all necessary equipment. Free refreshments will be available.

Volunteers will work two-hour shifts according to the schedule below:

  • 9–11 a.m.
  • 1–3 p.m.

The morning session will be held at the corner of Cherry Lane and McCormick Road, near the Purdue Northwest Recreation Fields and the Purdue Student Farm. The afternoon session will be held on Grant Street near the Wade Utility Plant. Volunteers for the morning session will have the opportunity take a free tour of the Purdue Student Farm after the shift ends.

We planted a whopping 325 trees during last year’s event, bringing our total number of trees planted across campus to nearly 400. Sign up now and spread the word—Purdue is making the world a better place, one tree at a time!

If you’re interested in volunteering, you must register through our new volunteerism portal. Please note that you will be prompted to log in through Purdue Connect to register.

If you have a Purdue Connect account, you can register directly. If you do not have a Purdue Connect account, you must create an account in order to register. Here is your Purdue for Life Foundation identification number: 0000518170. You will need this number during the process of creating a new account.

Sign up to volunteer on the Purdue day of service webpage.
