Purdue Plant Science Symposium
On behalf of the 2023 Purdue Plant Science Symposium planning committee, you are invited to take part in their FREE symposium, titled Planting the Digital Seed: The Computer’s Influence on Agriculture on October 6th, 2023 from noon to 5 pm. This event is planned by graduate students in the Purdue College of Agriculture and sponsored by Corteva Agriscience. Registration opens next Tuesday, August 15th.
The symposium will include:
- A Networking Session and FREE lunch to kick-off the symposium.
- A Poster Competition, with prizes for two categories: General Plant Science and Digital Plant Science. Submissions are open to all undergraduates, graduate students, and post docs that attend a college/university in the United States.

- Categories: Data Science and General Science
- Prizes: 1st ($150) and 2nd ($100) in each category for graduate and postdocs; 1st overall undergraduate ($75).
- Speakers from various jobs in the realm of plant science including precision agriculture, artificial intelligence, bioinformatics, phenotyping, and more!
