Forest Management for the Private Woodland Owner - Tippecanoe County

Thursday Evenings, March 6 to April 24, 6 to 9 pm Eastern and two Saturday field tours 9 am to noon Eastern

At the John S. Wright Forestry Center and Martell Forest, West Lafayette, IN

The Forest Management for the Private Woodland Owner course will provide 8 in-person learning sessions. Topics covered include tree ID, forest history and biology, management planning, management practices, wildlife management, timber sales, forest economics, and resources and assistance for forest landowners. Two Saturday field tours on March 22 and April 26 will provide field experiences to reinforce the classroom content.

The fee to participate is $50 for full registration and $30 for a guest accompanying a full registration. Advanced registration is required there is a strict limit on attendance, so please register at your earliest convenience.
