FNR professor shares new climate change findings

Body

Dr. Alex Wiedenhoeft, Adjunct Assistant Professor Associate Professor Jeff Dukes with the Department of Forestry and Natural Resources in biological sciences, shares his findings of how the impact of climate change could affect crop production, plants, microbes and the atmosphere. “There’s a lot of evidence that crop production will decline; at least production of some crops in some places. That’s one thing that could be important, because many crops have temperature thresholds,” Dukes said.
