I have been incredibly fortunate to receive scholarships from the Forestry and Natural Resources department and the College of Agriculture all four years of my college career. Besides helping to pay for my tuition and housing, the College of Agriculture's scholarships allowed me to study abroad with FNR to Costa Rica, one of the most educational and eye-opening experiences I have participated in. Scholarships allow students to go above and beyond the classroom with the skills and knowledge they acquire.”

Throughout my 4 years at Purdue, I’ve had the privilege of growing as a student and a person through the multitude of opportunities made available to me. With the scholarships and generous giving from the College of Agriculture and the Dept. of Forestry and Natural Resources, I was able to fulfill my goal of studying abroad and seeing a broader side of the natural world. This is a time where transformative events can alter the course of our lives and I’m happy to know that Purdue is a place where financial obligations aren’t barriers between students and extraordinary experiences!"

Scholarships have really helped me advance my time while at Purdue. Being able to focus on things such as research and leadership activities instead of finances has helped me gain experience for my career later on. It has also allowed me to have the time to go to conferences to network with professionals and learn more about my future career."

Being an out of state student, the increased tuition can be difficult. I knew I wanted to go to Purdue regardless of the price, since it is such an esteemed university. The scholarships I have received throughout my education had been unbelievably helpful in alleviating college expenses. I never have to worry about money, because Purdue is so generous and supportive.”

“My education at Purdue would have been a far off dream without the help of grants and scholarships from the college and generous donors. I am ever-thankful to those who have helped me achieve my degree without always worrying about money.”

I have been able to make the most of my Purdue experience thanks to generous scholarships. They've given me the tools to succeed in the classroom, lead organizations I'm passionate about on campus, and even take my Boilermaker pride abroad to continue my studies.”
